Ford Theatre Foundation

The Ford Theatre Foundation serves the community of Los Angeles through its support of the historic John Anson Theatre complex located in Hollywood, California. Each year, with the Foundation’s support, the Ford Theatres produces over 200 live performances representing the rich cultural diversity of Los Angeles County. 

Complementing its work in support of the Ford Theatres, the Foundation produces programs that engage and enrich surrounding communities through a series of outreach initiatives. Community Bridges connects artist and audience through a wide range of live performing events held in parks and community centers throughout Los Angeles. J.A.M. Sessions nurtures the artistic development of both youth and adults and invites active participation in music, dance and the creation of art alongside professional local artists. Big!World!Fun! provides the opportunity for Los Angeles families to enjoy high caliber performing arts presentations at affordable prices. The Foundation also co-produces the [Inside] the Ford winter play series.

Founded in 1994 by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the Ford Theatre Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. With the oversight and leadership of its Board of Directors, Foundation staff oversees daily operations and works in close partnership with the County of Los Angeles.
